Environmental, Social & Governance Practices

Our mission is to move your business forward. As we help businesses move forward, we also move our business forward. Our ESG policy serves as a guide for us as a company to ensure that our decisions, operational objectives, and investments are aligned with these commitments.

As a Vista Equity Partners portfolio company, BigTime continues to focus on our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices, as well as creating a culture dedicated to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I). We are responsible to our customers, employees, and partners to ensure that we create a risk-free, inclusive environment that minimizes the inherent negative effects of commercialization.

ESG Governance

We have an internal team who is responsible for managing and instilling the guiding principles of our ESG policy across our organization. In addition, leadership at BigTime is actively involved in identifying and mitigating potential ESG risks within the company and regularly reports on ESG policy and data to our Board of Directors. Our internal  ESG committee is dedicated to the continuous iteration of our policies.

Guiding Principles

Trust

We aim to promote honesty, integrity, fairness, and respect in all of our business practices. We prioritize an open-door policy with all senior leadership in order to ensure that employees are comfortable giving honest feedback on our company's direction. We are also committed to taking swift action against employees who are not acting in a way that aligns with our ESG policy and Employee Handbook. We conduct a bi-annual Employee Engagement survey to collect employee feedback. We not only report main themes to the entire company to hold senior leadership and management accountable, but we also create action plans for action items to drive improvements to the employee experience. In 2023, we are introducing a more frequent “Pulse Survey” strategy to measure improvements to the action items from the main engagement survey.

Privacy and Cybersecurity

We take all steps to ensure the protection of confidential consumer and corporate information through our own operations. BigTime maintains reasonable security measures to protect information from loss, destruction, misuse, unauthorized access, or disclosure. Access to production data is restricted and client data does not leave our cloud. Data can be removed from the system upon client request. BigTime continuously monitors systems, conducting tests for intrusions and attacks. We monitor all Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures in our environment and generally patch critical vulnerabilities within 24 hours. To detect security vulnerabilities, BigTime uses a combination of automated scanning, penetration testing, and third-party security research. BigTime undergoes an annual SOC II, Type 2 audit (information is available with an NDA). BigTime is in the process of increasing/advancing protocol to further combat and prevent cybersecurity attacks.G

Community Empowerment

We use our position as a community leader to provide charitable contributions to the four communities where we are hosted. We are committed to allowing our team to spend 1% of their working hours (about 21 hours a year) volunteering and giving back to our communities as part of their role. We also support the team in their own personal community endeavors through our flexible time off and prioritize at least one community service activity as part of our all-company on-site.

Wellness

We support all of our employees in achieving their healthiest selves while at work. We offer an annual wellness stipend and access to mental health resources through an EAP program. We offer flexibility and ample sick time to employees who need extra time to recover, with specific “Refresh Days” to encourage employees to take a break every quarter. Our goal as an organization is to have an opportunity for our team to engage in a wellness activity in ourl all-company on-site.

Inclusivity

We focus on building a culture where all employees are treated with dignity and their voices are heard. At our core, we believe that we are not able to succeed as a business unless our employees are able to show up as their authentic selves and feel safe, supported, and valued. We continue to invest in ongoing inclusivity education for all employees and leadership and annually review our policies and procedures to ensure equity and fairness. Our commitment to our employees, current and future, is to have an action-oriented Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion culture where DEI is never viewed as a “check the box” initiative. Our goal is to offer programming throughout the calendar year, including third-party training, in-house “Lunch N’ Learns”, holiday recognition (including a Floating Holiday for any celebration not on the company calendar), and a New Hire DEI course.

Protecting Our Planet

We are committed to improving our impact on the environment and increasing the efficiency of our services and operations. We acknowledge the impact our facilities and travel have on the environment and are taking actionable steps to reduce any negative effects. As a Vista company, we are committed to  achieving net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. Our goal in 2023 is to set an interim greenhouse gas reduction target and a corresponding reduction plan. We will also start offsetting our greenhouse gas emissions annually.
