About Hakkoda

Hakkoda is a next-generation services company focused on engineering data and analytic systems on the Snowflake Data Cloud. Founded in 2021, Hakkoda specializes in future-proofing data structures, migrating data to the cloud as efficiently and securely as possible, and uses data to build and monetize data-driven services.

We sat down with Corey Ariss, VP of Technology Operations of Haddoka to discuss how BigTime drove efficiencies from the very beginning of the firm’s conception.

The Challenge

Starting Small, Thinking Big
As a newly founded firm in 2021, Hakkoda knew they needed a PSA software to help scale operations from the beginning.

Entering Time
As native PSA software users (the founders have 150 years of combined tech and data experience), the Hakkoda team knew how time entering can be a huge pain point in other PSA software. This was a must in their new software search. 

Sending Integrated Invoices + Reminders
Hakkoda needed a way to send invoices directly without switching back and forth between software. In addition, the time spent on manually following up on invoices was becoming too much.

Resource and Staff Usage
To make sure Hakkoda’s staff and resources weren’t being overwhelmed, having a real-time look into the health of the company was crucial.

The Solution

BigTime’s real-time reports provided Hakkoda with accurate insights into staff and allocation resources. Overall, their ability to manage utilization significantly improved and their team is able to make staffing decisions much quicker.
